Welcome to my blog. I have been told that I seem to know something about most things and am always willing to share my opinion. You may not always be eager to hear it. My education is in the sciences and my work is related to the chemical field. I have conservative leanings but support social justice.
I grew up in a small, Coal Region, Pennsylvania town and oddly enough had both religion and guns to cling to. My grandparents were coal miners and my roots are only two or three generations out of central Europe. I was raised with family values including respect and a hard work ethic. I have been married to the same person for over thirty years. I have three children and one grandchild, who has become the star of my life.
I have never blogged before and don't know how successful this will be. I also don't know how often I will find the time. My outlook on life has always been that the reward is in the journey, not the destination. So we will see how this journey goes.
